What can my DNA tell me? 


Trying to make the correct choice about the right foods to eat and the right diet is more confusing than ever. What genetic profiling is clearly demonstrating is that the right foods and the right diet for you, is dependent upon your underlying genetics. We are entering the realm of personalised health and the implications and benefits of this are enormous. It will change how we assess and manage our health, wellbeing and diet.


DNA profiling is no longer confined within the walls of research laboratories. Current research is telling us that supplements, foods, dietary, exercise and lifestyle habits will help us manipulate gene expression to enhance our health.


You cannot change your genes but you can change the expression of your genes. If a particular gene has benefits for health, then you can ‘turn up’ the expression of the gene. If the gene is detrimental to your health you want to ‘turn down’ the expression of the gene.
